NEW! RoAMUD v2.0 for RedHat Fedora Core 3! RoAMUD v2.0 for RedHat Linux 7!

RoAMUD v2.0 was run and developed on Red Hat Linux 4.2 at home and as a result, the MUDBase has only been compiled on a Linux ELF platform. Don't have Linux? Do yourself a favor...visit the RedHat Linux site. I think it will compile with minor modifications on other Unix type platforms such as FreeBSD (I was originally using FreeBSD).

RoAMUD v2.0 will compile and run on Linux 5.2 with some modification. Check the conversion page for instructions on how to go about it.

Note on the MUDBASE releases:
RoAMUD_2.0.tar.gz is the RoA MUDBase packaged with everything you need to get the MUD up and running, including SOURCE CODE and a small baseline set of areas.

For a brief description of the fixes and modifications in version 2.0, see the worklog (I really try to keep it up to date...).

Note for version 2.0: A player file update was necessary in 1.7, therefore current pfiles will not be compatible with versions older than 1.7.
